The MOBILE TOOL is an iPhone application developed within the BCM MOBILE APPS product line, which complements the well-known Enterprise Resource Management software, Broadcast Manager (BCM), for planning and scheduling TV productions.

When utilizing the Client/Server system Broadcast Manager, this app enables staff to access personnel and technical planning data at any time with real-time updates, allowing detailed insights into ongoing productions. Furthermore, the app offers interactive features that facilitate direct data entry from the production site into the host system's database, such as production reports, daily time tracking for employees, or memos.

Time Tracking

This feature records employees' working hours and associates them with specific projects or cost centers in real-time by updating the SQL Server database of the Broadcast Manager host system.

Production Overview

The Production Overview displays all scheduled productions within a user-selected one-month period, using color codes specified by planning personnel for easy identification.

Personnel View

This view presents all permanent staff members and their scheduled tasks in a clear Gantt chart format. Freelancers can also be included as an option.

Technical Equipment View

The Technical View visualizes all technical resources managed by the designated master service provider (or internal production company) along with their scheduled deployments, presented in a Gantt chart format for clarity.

Production Visualization

The Production View offers a comprehensive visualization of a complete production schedule, including staffing lists, vehicle fleets, supplementary equipment, and relevant notes associated with the project.

Production Report

This feature provides a convenient method for creating detailed reports immediately after a production, enabling swift storage or transmission to management and integration into the Broadcast Manager host system.

All sub-apps are interconnected and designed to operate seamlessly together where applicable.

Type: iPhone application

Target Audience: TV production companies using Broadcast Manager who wish to provide their staff with detailed, real-time information regarding production planning and execution.

Please note that a Broadcast Manager system is required to operate this app. The Broadcast Manager is not included with MOBILE TOOL.
